Described as ‘a unique event’ whose ‘importance can not be overstated’ by ACOUSTIC magazine, the World Youth Guitar Festival is a 4 day event for classical guitarists aged 8-18 of any ability. The 5th Winchester Guitar Festival will be taking place from 23-25 July 2010. Hugely popular with adults and children alike, it focuses on playing the guitar in an ensemble setting coached by some of the world’s finest performers and tutors. WGF2010 guest concert artists include Laura Young (Canada) and Mark Ashford (UK).
